Kevane transforms your videos into pure soundscapes, letting you isolate and save audio tracks effortlessly. Ever wanted to extract a song, dialogue, or sound effect from a video? With Kevane, it’s as simple as uploading your file and hitting extract.
This Privacy Policy applies to the Kevane app and related services operated by Kevane Team (the “Service”).
Age requirement (17+)
The Service is intended for users who are at least 17 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and we do not direct the Service to children.
Information we collect
A. Account information (you provide)

B. Support information (you provide)
- Customer support messages and any attachments you choose to include
C. Content you upload (you provide)
- Media files you choose to upload (e.g., videos) for processing
- Related inputs you choose to provide (e.g., titles, labels, optional notes)
You control whether to upload content. If you choose not to upload, the Service may not be able to provide extraction features that require server processing.
Extracted outputs (such as saved audio tracks) are generally stored locally on your device by default, unless you choose to upload or share them.

E. Automatically collected information
- Device information (device model, OS version, language, region, identifiers)
- Usage data and analytics (feature usage, session duration, interactions)
- Crash logs and diagnostic data

If the Service includes a website, embedded web content, or web-based login pages, we (or our providers) may use cookies, local storage, or similar technologies (which may include web beacons) for login/session management, remembering preferences, security, and fraud prevention.
G. Photos / face data / biometric information
The Service does not perform facial recognition and does not collect biometric identifiers for the purpose of uniquely identifying you. If you upload photos or videos that contain faces, we do not use them to identify any person, build biometric profiles, or for marketing/training purposes.

We do not sell your personal information.
Automated / AI-assisted processing
To provide extraction features, we may process uploaded content using automated methods, which may include machine-learning or AI-assisted techniques (for example, separating or isolating audio components).
- Processing is performed on servers controlled by Kevane Team (our own infrastructure or dedicated servers under our control).
- We do not share your uploaded content or derived outputs with third parties for their own purposes.
- We do not use your uploaded content to train third-party models.
- After processing is completed, we delete uploaded content from our processing systems promptly, subject to operational backups and legal requirements.
- You remain in control of whether to upload and generate outputs.
International transfers
Your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent mechanisms.
Security

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Retention
- Account data: retained while your account is active.
- After account deletion: deleted or anonymized within 30 days.
- Usage analytics: up to 12 months.
- Support communications: up to 6 months.
Uploaded content used for extraction is retained only as long as reasonably necessary to process your request and deliver results, then deleted promptly, subject to backups and legal requirements.
Your rights and choices

We aim to respond within 5 business days where practicable and as required by law.
Governing law & arbitration (binding)
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of Kevane Team’s principal place of business, excluding conflict-of-law rules.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to this Privacy Policy or our privacy practices will be resolved by binding arbitration in the jurisdiction of Kevane Team’s principal place of business, conducted in English, before a single arbitrator, except where prohibited by law.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the Effective Date above. If changes are material, we will provide appropriate notice as required by law.
